The East Lancashire Railway opened in 1846, and here I have placed a few newspaper cuttings relating to the E.L.R.

Here is a lovely bit of history, as you can now travel on this short train ride from Bury to Stubbins, stopping at Summerseat and Ramsbottom stations. This film was taken in 1966.

Ramsbottom Model Railway Club now have a website - www.ramsbottommrc.org.uk

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday Night 7.30pm till 11pm.  

At our club house, which is just behind 3, Bury New Road, Ramsbottom.
